Hello everybody!

We have arrived at South Africa in Cape Town. South Africa has a really cool flag. First we went to an aquarium, we saw seals,sharks, sea turtles, and fish. After that we went to the World of Birds! I got to play with turtles and squirrel monkeys.

Next we went to Table mountain. We got little animal puzzles. I got a dassie, a parrot and a squirrel but there many others. Also I got lion socks! It was cool!

We are staying near the beach and it is not as hot as Santiago. The weather is sunny and windy.

Note from Alex's mom: a dassie is a rock hyrax like a pika. It's a little mammal who lives high up in the mountains and looks a bit like a small round groundhog.
