Hello, how are you guys! I have ALOT to talk about!

At first we went to the mall. I don't like shopping that much, but it was still fun. A while later we went to Robben Island! (We had to take a tour) and I had no idea they were talking about because they had a weird accent. So it sounded like a diffent launguage! (Afterwords Mom told me about it, it was about aparthied)

About aparthied...(1948-1994)

Aparthied was when the goverment of South Africa seperated black and coloured people (coloured was a mix between black and white people) from white people. (White people were treated best, black worst.) They would put people on the Robben Island Prison because they did not agree with the goverment. They could not stand, talk or write there own language (only Afrikaans), and could not whistle. They could not be with another race unless they worked for the other race. To make sure people were not with another race, people had to have a pass where it said what there race is. (They would put a stamp on if you worked for another race.)

Ohh........ that reminds me of youth day (1975) o_o. It is on June 16th. It was when Schools could only teach in Afrikaans. The kids did not like that so in the football stadium they put up a protest. Then the police came and killed hundreds of kids! It's very, very SAD! They now celebrate it

Anyways that is about Robben Island.

A day after that we went to Kruger National Park for my sister's birthday present. We saw a lot though we did not see any wildebeest. Our guide's name was Russell. We had him as a guide last time there. It was nice saying hello. Our Chef, Juan, was great! All his stuff was wonderful! But the best thing was the animals. We even saw a Cheetah! Which is amazing because there are only less than 250 in the park. (The Park is pretty big itself) We saw it really close for a Cheetah, and then cars went away (Which I don't get why) So the Cheetah went away. We tried to spot it again but it took awhile. So we saw all the big five in 24 hours, and pretty close too! We saw Eland, Kudu, Waterbuck, Impala, stuff like that. Also Hippos and Crocodiles! We saw Eagles, Kingfishers, and Falcons. Basically, we saw a lot! When we went on safari two other people came, Dean and Lisa. Dean spotted about everything we saw,but they did not see many animals until we came!^-^
